How Our Network Works
Talk to a local provider
Who You Talk To
Editorappears Walk-In Tubs is a referral service, so there is no crew to introduce. When you reach out, we pass your request to an independent provider in our network. That provider is the person or business you will speak with, visit with and, if you choose, hire.
What the Provider May Ask
Picture the first chat. The provider will likely want to know a few simple things:
- Where your home is and how old it is
- What kind of tub or shower you have now
- Whether you want a walk-in tub, a walk-in shower or a tub replacement
- Who will use it, and any mobility needs
- Where the bathroom sits, such as upstairs or off a basement
Have rough answers ready. Photos or measurements can help, but they are not always needed.
Questions Worth Asking a Provider
A good provider expects questions. Try these:
- Can I get the quote in writing?
- What is included, and what could change the price?
- Who does the plumbing and the wall work?
- Do you handle permits where they are needed?
- How long will the bathroom be out of use?
- What warranty does the product carry, and who handles service later?
Older homes can hide surprises, such as tight doorways or aging pipes. Ask how the provider handles those.
You Stay in Charge
A conversation is not a contract. You can compare more than one quote, take time to decide, or say no. If a provider pushes you to sign on the spot, that is a fair reason to step back.
